Meetings

Chapter Board of Directors meetings shall be held at a location selected by the Chapter and agreed upon by the majority of the presiding Board Members. In addition to an annual meeting, regular meetings of the Board of Directors shall be held no less than two times per year. Board Members must receive notice of annual and regular meetings no less than ten days before the meeting by personal notification or by mail, fax, or email.

Special Meetings for any purpose may be requested by the Chapter Chair or by a majority of the Board Members with five business days written notice. Special Meetings must be called by the Chapter Chair or Secretary, on receipt of the written request by either a majority of the Board Members or by one Chapter Officer. Notice of a Special Meeting should specify in writing the purpose or purposes of such Special Meeting and only such purposes may be taken up at the meeting.

Record Keeping

The Chapter shall maintain complete records, including a minute book, which will enable it to make adequate reports to its community and to National. All records, correspondence, and books of account of the Chapter are the property of AFSP and shall be returned on demand.
