The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention publishes an extensive bibliography, survivor support group directory, and information about suicide and mental illness. It also sponsors National Survivors of Suicide Day and the Survivor e-Network, funds scientific research, develops prevention initiatives, and offers educational programs and conferences for survivors, mental health professionals, physicians, and the public.
