Information for Facilitators
Please check AFSP's support group directory to make sure your group is listed accurately. To add your group to the directory, or to update your group's listing, please fill out this short online form.
Moderated by Wendy Resnick, a member of AFSP's facilitator training corps and nationally-recognized expert on support group leadership, these drop-in conference calls are open forums where facilitators can ask questions and learn from each other. Facilitators from all over the country participate in the calls -- one even wrote us afterwards, saying how nice it was "to hear from other facilitators, to realize even a glimpse of the number of people out there helping other survivors in sharing common questions and fresh answers."
Just dial-in to 1-800-270-1153 and enter passcode 146300#. (To participate from outside to U.S., please email survivingsuicideloss@afsp.org to tell us what country you will be calling from. The call in number varies for each country.) Each call will last one hour. There's no charge, and facilitators are welcome to participate as often as they'd like, for a few minutes or the whole hour.
