PARKING:

The Sawyer Point parking lot is FREE for participants of The Out of the Darkness Walk, however spaces are limited. If you would like to snag a free parking spot, we encourage you to arrive early.
To make parking easier for those that may not be able to arrive early, or those who are worried about the limited spaces at Sawyer Point, we have also partnered with Parking Panda to help make your downtown parking experience as simple and streamlined as possible. Use the link below to reserve and pay for your parking ahead of time. Full instructions and parking details will be included in your confirmation email from Parking Panda.
A portion of every purchase will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Use promo code WALKOUT to save $1 on your reservation.

Out of the Darkness Community Walks

The Out of the Darkness Community Walks are AFSP’s signature fundraising campaign.

Every fall, family members, friends, and colleagues walk 3–5 miles together in hundreds of communities across the nation to prevent suicide, raise awareness, and end the stigma that surrounds depression and other mental disorders.

With each stride, our walkers save lives, honor loved ones lost to suicide and raise funds to support AFSP’s vital mission.

Below are the walks being held in your state. For a complete list, click here.

We will be having our walk along the river with an opening ceremony and closing ceremony you won't want to miss.
