Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors. We, raised nearly $50K and raised awareness throughout the streets of Music Row in Nashville..what a success!

We have our biggest event of the year coming up...the Out of the Darkness Walk!...and with the growth of this event each year, we have a need for more volunteers.

Please email middletn@afsp.org to register to be a volunteer.

1st Annual Pickin' for Prevention

Some of the biggest songwriters in country music joined together to benefit the Middle TN Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for the 1st Annual Pickin' for Prevention Event!  The event was a huge success, with an amazing turn out!  We were so excited to raise a ton of awareness for AFSP and raise additional funds for the Chapter to support research and educational programs.

Living with BiPolar - Educational Event

Our Living with BiPolar event brought together individuals that have family members with symptoms of bipolar disorder, people that struggle personally with these symptoms and professionals that specialize in the counseling and treatment of this illness.  A video was shown and discussed, explaining the difference in depression and bipolar disorder and ways to properly diagnose and treat the illness.
