Education & Training

Education and training is one of the most important functions AFSP provides.  The South Carolina chapter has donated over $30,000 in More Than Sad -- our signature program --  resources to educators.

Thanks to Colonial Life, which donated $2,000 to help with printing and supplies for More Than Sad training.

Our chapter works to prevent suicide by educating members of our communities about suicide and suicide prevention.

We list here resources you and others may use in working with middle, high school and college students, physicians, members of the media, and community leaders, and those who want to support people who are bereaved by suicide.
