Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11, and AFSP and the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention invited members of Congress and Congressional staff to participate in a video campaign to raise awareness about suicide prevention among our veterans and their families.
It is important to let our veterans and their families who may be struggling know there is hope and that suicide is preventable.
The following videos feature members of Congress and Congressional staff encouraging veterans and their families who may be in crisis to seek help by calling the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or visiting the Veterans Crisis Line website.
Please help us promote these videos via social media using #VeteransDay to further expand their reach:
Senator Mark Begich (AK)
Senator Roy Blunt (MO)
Senator Bob Casey (PA)
