Dear Friends,

As a Friend of Suicide Prevention and Supporter for Survivors of Suicide Loss, you have a unique opportunity this year on Saturday, April 27, to attend a national conference in Austin, Texas, on Healing After Suicide, co-sponsored by the American Association of Suicidology and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

This conference, which annually brings together national experts on hope and healing, is located in Texas for the first time in more than 10 years. Designed for survivors of suicide loss, support group facilitators, mental health professionals, and interested others, the purpose of the Healing After Suicide Conference is to:

  • Provide survivors of suicide loss with educational tools and resources to help with their individual journey of healing and transform their experience into action.
  • Assist mental health professionals and other caregivers in understanding the needs of survivors of suicide loss.
  • Provide assistance to facilitators of suicide loss support groups.

We hope that you will look at the brochure giving details of this all day conference, share it with others, and send in your registration.

You can Register Online at: www.suicidology.org/25th-Healing-After-Suicide. All survivors of suicide loss and those who care for them are invited.
